All Signal. Zero Noise.
THE SIGNAL
Tuesday belonged to the grid. Constellation Energy closed up 12.25% and Vistra up 10.77%. The catalysts were specific: Google signed a 20-year nuclear power purchase agreement with Constellation, and the Department of Energy committed $4.2 billion toward nuclear upgrades at Vistra, per Zacks reporting. Uranium (URA) rose 4.01%, GE Vernova 3.96%, and Quanta 5.29%.
The single most important tell: Constellation opened at $291.11 and closed at $300.40 on 13.5M shares, a gap-and-hold that never gave back the open. Hyperscalers are now signing multi-decade contracts for electrons. The bid is for the physical constraint, not the model.
The counterweight: Micron fell 1.73% on 21.8M shares and Nvidia was flat at +0.14%. Broadcom rose 3.67% and AMD 2.80%, with AMD citing higher 2027 chip output plans. Capital rotated toward power, and inside AI hardware it rotated away from memory.
TODAY’S TOP CALLS
CEG $300.40 (+12.25%) — Google’s 20-year, 3,590 MW nuclear agreement is the largest contract signal of the week. It validates the hyperscaler-to-generator model and lifted the whole independent power complex.
VST $160.50 (+10.77%) — A conditional $4.2B Department of Energy commitment for nuclear plant upgrades. Government capital is now backing the build-out, not just private demand.
ASTS $63.12 (+8.01%) — The biggest mover in space, on 17.6M shares. We found no company catalyst in the news flow; the move is price and volume only, and the stock carries open litigation headlines. Treat it as a tape move, not a story.
